Andrew J. Hall, of Warren, MA, was found guilty by a jury last month of endangering the welfare of a child, providing obscene material to a minor, and two counts of criminal sexual contact, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.
Police began investigating Hall in September 2022 after the victim and her parents spoke to authorities about the messages.
Authorities said Hall reached out to the girl on a social media platform, and their conversations became sexual over time, despite him knowing the girl was a child. They exchanged explicit photos and videos.
Hall told her he wanted to meet her when she turned 16, the prosecutor said. Other details were withheld to protect the victim's identity.
A judge is set to sentence Hall on June 6.
